My little miss Tarryn is now 7 years old. I really can't believe where the last seven years of her life went. At seven she is...helpful, loving, and eager to do "mom" things.
This year she got to spend her birthday at school, like so many other kids. She was bothered by it at first but realized that it would be okay. An hour before school was over, the boys and I grabbed some cupcakes and headed to her classroom. Her teacher made her feel special by letting her wear a birthday crown all day long. She loved that. She was also very excited that I was able to come and be with her.
After school we hung out (the kids have been SUPER tired now that school has started) and before long she spent some time on her bed...
She spent time one the phone...
Opening presents... (for more info on this gift see here)
and blowing out candles. We opted for the un-traditional peanut butter cup brownies instead of a cake because she had cupcakes at school and a party - with a cake - on saturday. Too much cake if you ask me, so brownies it was.
Happy Birthday, Tarryn!
Thanks to all who called or sent a card. She really had a great day!
